Lawn Moss For Shaded Areas

Both of the moss plants below are of the genus Hypnum and are known by their common names as ‘Sheet Moss’ and ‘Carpet Moss’ and can be used for lawns as ground cover.

These mosses can tolerate moderate foot traffic and lawns with full and partial shade. We sell lawn moss as live moss plants, milkshakes, or fragments.

Lawn Moss For Sunny Areas

Our Bryum moss is called Sun moss and grows well in sunny lawns. It can be used as an alternative to grass and is also often used between pavers.

We recommend a maximum of 8-10 sun hours. It is available as a milkshake or you can order living moss plants.
