Moss Wall Tiles

A moss wall brings a living-looking green surface indoors without any of the upkeep of a planted wall. Our tiles are preserved moss on a backing panel: they mount to any dry interior surface and stay green for about ten years with no water, no light and no feeding.

Four greens, mixed to taste

Tiles come in Spring Green, Chartreuse Green, Dark Green and Light Green. Because they are modular you can cover a wall of any size, and mixing tones across a surface is what stops a large panel looking flat. A damaged tile swaps out without touching the rest.

Living moss walls

A preserved wall is the practical choice for most interiors. A genuinely living moss wall needs daylight, humidity and irrigation, and is a different project altogether. If that is what you are planning, talk to us first so we can advise on species and conditions before you buy anything.

Building it yourself

Our guide to making a moss wall covers layout, fixing and mixing tones. Pair tiles with bagged preserved moss for infill, edges and accents. For large or commercial installations we can help calculate coverage before you order.

Moss Walls: Frequently Asked Questions

Do the tiles need water or light?

Never — preserved moss needs no water, soil or light. Keep the wall dry and out of direct sun.

How long do they last?

About ten years indoors under normal conditions.

Can they go in a bathroom or outdoors?

No — sustained moisture is the one thing preserved moss cannot take.
