Our Dried Natural Deerfoot Moss is a naturally harvested fruticose lichen (genus Cladonia), and should not be confused with Reindeer moss. It is similar but has a more subtle texture. This product is air-dried without dyes or preservatives, so it is safe to use because no chemicals were involved.

The name ‘deerfoot moss’ comes from its rounded, paw-like cushions that look similar to deer tracks.
